    The craft was introduced under Tipu Sultan’s patronage in the 18th century, and today, it is GI (Geographical Indication) certified as “Channapatna Toys and Dolls”.
    Over 5,000 artisans and 300+ small units sustain this traditional craft, which has gained global recognition for its sustainability and child-safe designs.
