• Seam & tear strength (ASTM/ISO), zipper cycle tests, dimensional stability after 3 washes; rug adhesion/peel on latex/TPR back; needle & metal detection for export programs.
  

8) Prototypes, MOQs & lead time

• Workflow: feasibility 48–72 h → lab dips/strike-offs 2–4 days → 1st prototype 7–10 days → production sample 14–21 days.
  
• MOQ bands (guidance):
  
  • Pilot: 200–300 pcs/style/colour (smalls & softs); 50–100 pcs/size/design for rugs.
