2) Fabrics, blends & GSM guides

• Cotton (combed/ringspun/organic/BCI): 140–220 GSM jerseys, 180–260 GSM interlock/pique, 240–340 GSM French terry & fleece.
  
• Polyesters: rPET micro poly 120–180 GSM (performance tees), bird’s-eye mesh 120–160, scuba/ponte 240–340.
  
• Nylon/elastane: 180–300 GSM for leggings/bras; powernet meshes 90–140.
  
• Blends: CVC (60/40), cotton–modal/lyocell, poly–cotton, tri-blends, mélange/heathers, slub, space-dyed.
  
• Structures: single jersey, interlock, rib 1×1/2×2, pique, waffle/thermal, jacquard, ponte, French terry, brushed fleece, air-layer spacer.

3) Performance & hand-feel finishes

• Moisture-wicking/quick-dry, anti-odour (bio-based or silver-free), UPF 30/50, 4-way stretch & recovery.
  
• DWR (C0, PFAS-free) for light rain; stain release & soil guard.
  
• Brushing/peaching, enzyme/silicone softening, garment dye, acid/stone & vintage washes, anti-pilling.
  

4) Trims, construction & fit engineering

• Seams: 4-needle/6-thread flatlock, 3-needle coverstitch, bar-tacks at stress points.
  
• Waistbands: enclosed elastic, jacquard logo elastic, power mesh, drawcords with bartack eyelets.
  
• Closures: YKK/KK coil or moulded zippers; auto-lock sliders; zipper garages.
  
• Panels: ventilation meshes, bonded hems, taped seams, gussets, thumbholes, media pockets.
  
• Labels: soft heat-transfer neck prints, tear-away tags for comfort.
  
• Fits: slim/regular/relaxed; men/women/kids grade rules; size ranges XS–XXXL (custom).
  

5) Colouring, prints & graphics

• Dyes: reactive/pigment for cotton; disperse for poly; cationic dyeable poly for deep shades.
  
• Prints: plastisol/water-based/discharge, high-density/gel/puff, digital DTG (cotton), sublimation (poly), reflective heat-transfers, silicone/screened chest hits, all-over prints.
  
• Colour control: lab dip ΔE ≤ 1.5 to Pantone TCX; shade bands approved.
  

6) Tolerances & QC (typical targets)

• Garment measurement: ±0.5–1.0 cm (tops) / ±0.7–1.2 cm (bottoms).
  
• Shrinkage after 3 washes: ≤3% cotton interlock/jersey; ≤2% poly/nylon.
  
• Spirality/torque: ≤5° (post-wash).
  
• Pilling: 4 (Martindale/ICI), seam strength & stretch-recovery to spec.
  

7) Prototypes, MOQs & lead time

• Workflow: Feasibility 48–72 h → Lab dips/strike-offs 2–4 days → 1st proto 7–10 days → PPS 14–21 days.
  
• Fabric dye minimums (guidance): 120–200 kg/colour (knitted lot); heat-transfer/sublimation prints 300–500 pcs/graphic.
  
• MOQs:
  
  • Pilot: 200–300 pcs/colour/style (tees/hoodies) • 150–250 pcs/colour/style (leggings/bras).
    
  • Standard: 500–1,000 pcs/colour/style.
    
• Lead time: 6–9 weeks ex-factory (program & embellishment dependent).
