Flat-Pack That Survived the Journey (KD, ISTA 3A)
Cluster/Port: Jodhpur → ICD → Mundra
A European retailer loved a solid-wood/metal range—until cartons arrived tired, panels warped in the monsoon, and reviews turned sour. We introduced a Jodhpur maker and ran a calm, visible plan: kiln-dry targets, simple moisture checks before pack-out, a sturdier carton with corner protection, and an independent ISTA 3A test (drop + compression). The factory handled finishes and packing; we kept dates, photos, and test bookings tight.
What changed: the design passed ISTA 3A, in-transit damage dropped (think ~5% → <1%), and customer assembly got easier because parts arrived square and dry. Shipments left on time and chargebacks went quiet.
Our role: shortlist unit, set guardrails, book ISTA & pre-shipment QC, deliver evidence. Factory role: finish, dry, pack, and load to spec.
The Industrial Set That Finally Shipped On Time (Capacity Ramp)
Cluster/Port: Jodhpur → Mundra
A fast-growing furniture set kept missing dates. Welding queued up, kitting was slow, and too many small scuffs showed at QA. We paired the buyer with a Jodhpur shop confident with low-mix/high-volume, agreed a weekly build plan, and added two simple things: a pre-assembly jig to catch wobble early and a kitting checklist so every bolt and Allen key made it into the box. The factory added a second shift and better staging; we ran the calendar, photos, and PSI.
What changed: on-time delivery held at ≥95%, visible defects fell, and support tickets shrank. The look stayed the same, the schedule finally stuck.
Our role: supplier match, ramp calendar, PSI & photo evidence. Factory role: balance the line, kit consistently, and ship.
Wood You Can Stand Behind (FSC & Repeatable Finishes)
Cluster/Port: Jodhpur → ICD → Mundra
A retailer wanted responsible wood with a repeatable finish—same tone today and next quarter. We connected them with an FSC-capable unit and drew clear lines: gather chain-of-custody docs, set a finish board and shade band, and add a few extra photos at pack-out. The supplier owned sourcing and finishing; we assembled the paper trail, scheduled any needed tests (e.g., low-VOC finish checks), and kept sign-offs moving.
What changed: the range shipped with FSC paperwork in the carton file, finishes matched across re-orders, and returns tied to appearance dropped noticeably. The brand could claim the story without fearing the next batch would look “almost right.”
Our role: curate supplier & documents, book QC/tests, align finish expectations. Factory role: source responsibly and finish to the board.
