Materials & construction

  • Leathers: Full-grain/top-grain bovine or buffalo (veg/chrome tan), nubuck/suede, Saffiano/printed, pull-up (“crazy horse”), patent; LWG-sourced preferred.
  • Vegan options: Microfiber PU (solvent-free/PUD), bio-based PU; hydrolysis-resistant grades.
  • Lining: Polyester/TC twill, microfiber suede; RFID layer (aluminum/copper fabric).
  • Build: Turned edges or edge-paint (2–4 coats + sanding), skived layers, reinforcement tapes at folds.
  • Stitching: Lockstitch 6–9 SPI typical; poly/poly-core threads (e.g., #20–#40); bartacks at stress points.
  • Hardware/closures: YKK/SBS zips, snaps, magnetic closures; metal logos (zinc alloy/brass).

Compliance & testing

  • Leather chemicals: Chromium VI, PCP, formaldehyde, PAHs within limits; azo-free dyes.
  • Hardware: Nickel release, lead/cadmium; salt-spray for plated parts (as required).
  • Performance: Bally flex (finish crack), rub/colorfastness (dry/wet), stitch & seam strength, edge-paint adhesion/cold-crack, zip reciprocation, RFID effectiveness (if specified).

Materials & construction

  • Straps: Full-grain/top-grain/split leather (2.4–3.5 mm by use), veg-tan (premium) or chrome; PU/microfiber; webbing/elastic braids.
  • Widths: 28–35 mm (dress), 32–40 mm (casual/work); hole count 5–7, 25–30 mm spacing.
  • Edges & finish: Painted (2–4 coats), burnished, creased; contrast/top stitching optional.
  • Buckles: Zinc alloy, brass, stainless steel; prong/plaque/ratchet/D-ring; finishes—nickel, gunmetal, antique brass, PVD.
  • Structure: Full-cut single piece, stitched two-piece, split with bonded core.

  • Leather chemicals as above • PU: phthalate-free, DMFa/solvent limits • Hardware nickel release & corrosion.

Small Leather Goods (SLG)

Product scope: Card holders, coin purses, key cases, lanyards, passport covers, notebook covers, luggage tags, tech organizers, cable wraps, watch rolls, pen cases, cosmetic pouches.

Materials & construction

  • Same leather/PU options as wallets; microfiber suede linings or raw-edge with paint.
  • Reinforcements at bends; turned or painted edges; snap/zip/elastic closures; window ID films (PVC-free options).

Compliance & testing

  • As per wallets/belts; add transparency/yellowing tests for ID windows; snap pull strength; small-parts rules for kids SKUs.

MOQ & lead time

  • 300–1,000 pcs/style/colour depending on size & hardware • 35–50 days post approvals.
